Deleting your CrewHub account

CrewHub is made by CREW-HUB, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada (BIN 1001718397), 58 Dunnett Drive, Barrie, Ontario L4N 0J6. Contact: team@crew-hub.ca

You can delete your CrewHub account yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone.

How to delete it in the app

1. Open CrewHub and sign in. 2. Go to More (the last tab). 3. Tap Delete account. 4. Read the two lists on that screen — what goes and what stays — then confirm.

That is the whole thing. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to team@crew-hub.ca from the email address on the account. We answer within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours — we will never ask you for your password.

What is deleted

What stays, and why

The hours you worked and the payments you received, and the receipts you submitted. Those belong to your employer's records, not to your account. We keep them for seven years after an account closes — Ontario requires an employer to keep records of hours and wages, and the Canada Revenue Agency expects supporting books to be available for six years from the end of the tax year. Deleting your account does not erase your employer's books, and no app anywhere can do that. The same seven years is stated in our Privacy Policy, section 7.

Your name on those hours, so the record still says whose they are. A timesheet with the worker removed is not a corrected record, it is a broken one.

If you want your employer to correct or remove something in their own records, ask them directly, or write to us and we will pass the request on. Those records are theirs to change.

One case where deletion is refused

If you are the owner of a company that still has crew in it, the app will not delete your account, and it will tell you so.

Deleting the company would take your crew's own hours and unpaid wages with it — money owed to people who did not ask for any of this. Leaving the company without an owner would strand them somewhere nobody can approve a shift or pay them.

Remove your crew first — which also tells each of them what is happening — and then delete your account. Nobody else is blocked by this: workers and clients can delete at any time.

Where this is also written

The same rules, in more detail and as part of the full document, are in our Privacy Policy — section 7 covers how long data is kept, section 8 covers your rights, including asking us for a copy of your data.
